14 Days of Autism Love Giveaway:
Day 14: Sensory Goods

14 Days of Autism Love Giveaway
Ahhhhhh, love is in the air! Can you feel it?

My heart’s beating a little faster because we’re celebrating our love for those on the autism spectrum. Every day, for the next 14 days, I’m going to feature one of our favorite authors, apps, and organizations as a countdown to a huge giveaway of their products. (Now I can feel your heart beating faster too!) Have fun learning about them …and don’t forget to enter the giveaway. (Entry form at the end of this post. Lots of ways to earn extra entries too.)

Day 14: Sensory GoodsPeekBehindtheCurtain

Sensory Goods is a company made to meet the needs of people affected by developmental disorders. We provide an inventory of products designed to meet autism and sensory integration needs. We carry items like weighted and floor products, sensory swings, oral motors and more.

Our Motivation

This company was formed by our owner to continue efforts he and his family have been working on since 2006—to bring awareness to autistic and sensory integration needs and also therapeutic solutions at affordable prices. He began his mission after his two children were diagnosed with Autism. Just like everyone else, he and his wife had to find a way to help their children’s needs on a strict budget. So his family began to make therapy products for their children at home. They found affordable ways to meet their needs and realized that many other families could use the help too. They began with a hand full of products that quickly turned into a huge inventory of offerings to meet the demanding response.

Having a family-owned company with family members with Autism and working with an entire customer base of individuals with special needs have moved our hearts to care for people beyond their basic needs. There are so many worldly needs that can be seen by the human eye, but there are needs in individuals with special needs that must be seen beyond the sight of man. They have unique needs that lie within their characters and souls, and it has been (and continues to be) a complete joy to be a small part of helping them. We could not ask for a better group of people to call our customers and friends.
