Geek-Club-Books-Banner The banner’s have been made! The CDs, comic books, and story app retail cards have been packed! And we’re heading down I-5 to get to the Orange County Children’s Book Festival. The event is Sunday, September 28 from 9:30 to 4:30 PM at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa. It’s FREE…

The festival is one of the largest children’s book fairs in the country and though it’s our first appearance, they have been going strong for 11 years. There’s something for everyone…book and educational vendors, book signings, author and illustrator presentations, train rides, craft corner, petting zoo AND THE PROFESSIONAL STORYTELLERS! (Ahem, enter Jonathan stage left ūüôā ) Jonathan will be performing one of our Dorktales Storytime shows: The Three Little…Hogs?!
a trio of storytelling magic
Our friends, MrsP.com (actress Kathy Kinney) and children’s author Melissa Northway will be on the storytelling stage too. And we’ll all be hanging out in BOOTH 20, where festival attendees will find our new Dorktales Storytelling CD and our Mighty League Autism Story App + (NEW) companion comic book. This gives us the opportunity to talk face-to-face with the general public about autism stories for positive change!¬†Melissa Northway will be in circus ringleader attire in celebration of her latest book, “Clarence and the Traveling Circus.” She’ll also have her other award-winning books along with her too. You can check¬†out¬†the¬†MrsP “Be a Famous Writer Contest” and stop by for a¬†few extra special surprises we have in store…
