The adorkable JMan views his world in a unique and imaginative way…he’s the 10 year old superhero who stops bullies and makes the playground a peaceful place. He is the leader of the Mighty League and capes and crime fighting are his game! He has Aspergers Syndrome…and also green eyes, blonde hair, and a fascination with knowing everything he can about frogs and snakes.
Jaycee is the female alter ego to JMan. It’s funny because she views her world in a unique and imaginative way too! Choose her as your Mighty League hero and she’ll take you on the same playground crime fighting caper as her best bro, JMan. She has Aspergers Syndrome, green eyes, blonde hair…and a really cool heart belt!
Mr. Redge is JMan’s and Jaycee’s trustworthy companion who can smell the stink of crime from miles away. They adore this hedgehog who keeps them safe from the chaos in the world. They like that he’s a hedgehog, because that’s what they think they are, prickly on the outside, but warm and tender on the inside.
Evan or Dr. E(vil) Touch
Evan, or Dr. E (for evil) Touch, is a bully. He goes after kids he thinks aren’t “cool” and teases, pokes and prank them…it just isn’t right! But the Mighty League heroes make sure he has smelly consequences for his terrible tauntings.
Mrs. G is the Mighty League’s 5th grade teacher who must have the ability to apparate. She always seems to appear right when you need her!
Peter is the new kid in school which means he’s prey to Dr. E’s poking pranks.
Molly Murphy, sister to the real JMan, wrote the manuscript for “The Terrible Taunting” based on her brother’s real playground experiences with bullies who enjoyed poking and making fun of him. She captured Jonathan’s charming view of our world and his inner imagination living in it as a superhero.
