5 Must-Have Fidgets

By the Harms Family, Happy Hands Toys

The Harms family have become experts in all things fidgets. It began when mom and dad discovered that life became better for their son when he was able to “fidget.” Using sensory toys and fidgets as an outlet for his anxiety help him with his daily living and concentration.

After seeing how fidgets helped their son in such a positive way, the Harms family started Happy Hands Toys, a site with their favorite fidgets and sensory toys all in one place for a great price.

We asked the Harms to share their recommendations for the 5 fidgets for social anxiety:

Fidget PadsGame Controller Fidget Pads

These are great small fidgets to bring on the go to give your hands something to do in a high anxiety place. Small enough not to be easily noticed this fidget has it all with 9 buttons and functions. They even come with a lanyard to attach it to a bag or even your pants so it’s handy and ready for use. Perfect for any age or gender.

Peapod FidgetFun Squishy Bean Sensory Toy

Small and very discrete, this pea pod is meant to be squeezed and feels really smooth and soothing. One of the most popular pocket fidgets by far! They are inexpensive and very effective in relieving stress or just giving you something to squish and squeeze. Once again great for any age or gender.

Mini Infinity fidgetMini Infinity Cube Fidget

This never ending fidget just keeps going and going. Fits easily in your pocket or a bag, this cube relieves stress by keeping your hands and mind busy. The cube goes from square to flat in a rolling type of motion that is addictive and fun. It can sooth most anxiety and is very discrete, although it is a little louder than the others. Another perfect fidget for any age or gender.

Rainbow Ring Fidget SpinnerRainbow Rhinestone Spinner Ring

These spinner rings are a lifesaver in anxiety inducing moments we all have from time to time. My wife and I both have one and we use them ALL the time without even realizing it. We highly recommend a spinner ring for it’s ease of use and transportability since it’s a fidget on your finger. The best place is on your right ring finger so you can spin it with your thumb. Very addicting and excellent at soothing nerves. It comes in both men’s and women’s rings and sizes.

Bike Chain Key Ring FidgetBike Chain Key Ring Fidget

We feel this is the best, least expensive, and effective  fidget. This too never stops moving in a rolling fashion and keeps your fingers and hands busy. Very small, you can bring it anywhere and they are very quiet. I have one I bring everywhere and I use it without even thinking. This is my personal favorite fidget due to its size and functionality. Very discreet for any age or gender.
